About Me

I am a geophysicist interested in interpreting Earth systems through seismic signals, with a primary focus on volcanic environments. My research seeks to understand what volcanic seismicity reveals about the physical evolution of volcanic systems, the mechanisms that generate these signals, and how such processes can be reproduced through laboratory experiments and physics-based modeling.

Beyond volcanoes, I am interested in whether the same seismic tools can reveal subsurface processes in other settings where direct observation is difficult. The fluid or gas migration through fracture networks, ice dynamics within glaciers, or the onset of slope instability in landslides. I’m curious how physics-based source modeling and emerging machine-learning approaches can be applied across these environments, where seismic signals carry information about processes we cannot directly observe.
